Mr. William Emmanuel Sam, Executive Director of AEPA, said his organisation got to know the problem about the plight of African Colleges and Universities who do not have textbooks for their students on the Internet.

He said the books, which cover a wide range of subjects including mathematics, business, psychology and sociology, are to assist the students in their academic work.

Mr. Sam also announced that the NGO would present a quantity of textbooks to the University of Cape Coast, Ghana National College and the Nungua Secondary School.

Mrs. Victoria Dodoo, Deputy Librarian of the Balme Library, thanked the NGO for their kind gesture and urged the Organisation to assist the library to subscribe current American journals, which it needed for the students.
