This is how low we've sunk morally as Ghanaians. Its fair to deduce that most of our shortcomings can't only be blamed on politicians but also the media houses and their number of unqualified journalists. The latest "rashida black beauty" craze unnecessarily making waves in town confirms the level of mediocrity/insanity we've reached collectively as a nation! The same goes for lunatics like obinim, moesha boudong (as you correctly said), Akua Donkor, and many more sycophants or non-entities being given undue attention by the various media outlets who thrive on triviality and ignorance within our society. The excess of unprofessional/unqualified journalism has greatly contributed to the socio-economic/political downfall of Ghana but as complacent as we are with our retrogressive way of life so shall the mess continue unabated.

'Galamsay'is going on with impunity destroiyng our water bodies with the nonnivance of greedy people in high places to the extent that forigners have taken over the country in this regard. The media should re-focus on some of these issues.

Nice piece, its even worse when you listen to the twi news casters, as if they are having a concert show. But in all this , we must not fail to recognize those who are really doing a good job in the media landscape like multi media, their election coverage and other investigative work are simply on point. Ghanaian journalist should learn to cut the excesses

A very good article. It's sad listening to interviews conducted by our journalists. They are unable to ask follow up questions to establish facts, letting interviewees off the hook. It's a shame.
