The management and staff of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) have held 2017 annual thanksgiving service to thank God for his faithfulness to the bank in the past year.

Themed: ‘Give thanks unto the lord, for he is good: His mercies endureth forever’, was well attended by staff of all branches of the bank across the country.

It was interspersed with intermittent prayer sessions and musical interludes from Francis Amo that kept the National Theatre Auditorium alive from the beginning to the end.

Delivering the sermon, Bishop James Saah of the Action Chapel International urged the workers to give thanks to God profusely in spite of all circumstances.

“Don’t be like the nine lepers in the scriptures, 90 perfect of who forgot to thank the Lord after they have received their healings. The worst nightmare is to forget what God has done for you”, he counseled.

He prayed whatever decisions the executive shall take in the running of the bank should result in positive outcomes, adding that all negative developments should be things of the past.

Bishop Saah also asked for the favour of the Lord upon all ADB customers and prayed that their businesses shall flourish.

The Managing Director of ADB, Mr Daniel Asiedu, announced that bonuses will be paid at the end of year to workers if the bank continues on the positive path it has taken this year.

He explained that bonuses could not be paid in recent past because of the losses the bank was incurring.

As part of the service, 19 workers of the bank due for retirement were presented with packages depending of the numbers of years served.
