I have the privilege of studying under the feet of Nana Dr. SKB Asante at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, Legon 1980-81.
Here was a man whose name and fame preceded him. To be in his presence you felt like you were in the presence of all of Ghana's greats reaching through the ages to touch you. For he was the very embodiment and extension of the great ones like Aggrey through Danquah and Busia and it was his turn to share and shine on you their wisdom and knowledge. He was such an impeccable professor who animated the subject: International Relations. I felt blessed and fortunate to have been taught by him.
SKB Asante, Prof Kweku Folson, Kofi Drah, Dr. Yaw Manu, Dr. Kwame Ninsin, wherever you are today, may God bless you. You made me one heck of an enlightened student which continues to buoy and carry me on to date. You are legend.
