Defending Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars recorded their first win of the season edging Inter Allies 1-0 on Sunday.
Wahidu Mumuni struck from the penalty spot in stoppage time to claim all three points for coach Enos Adepa's side. Allies remained resolute throughout the tie but were undone in the dying embers as Mumuni converted expertly.
All Stars Kwaku Asuandzie needed medical attention after crashing down in a tussle. The youngster was rushed to the Wa General Hospital after the Red Cross officials deemed it necessary.
With 2 minutes left of the added-time, Wahidu scored from the penalty spot to claim the first win of the season for the title-holders.
