Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that the country is poised to overtake Rwanda as the most business friendly country in Africa.
According to him, it is one of the missions of the Nana Addo-led government to compete favorably and overtake Rwanda which has been adjudged by the business community as the most business friendly country in the sub region.
At a business t a business lunch and dialogue with the German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana), the Vice President revealed that government will soon abolish the import duties on raw materials imported into the country.
German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) is an alliance of Ghanaian and German companies, entrepreneurs and institutions with business and commercial interests in the two countries. Founded in 1999, GGEA provides its members with various services such as delivering up-to-date information on economic, commercial and other bilateral issues, linking up with business partners, authorities and institutions and creating an active forum for a public-private dialogue. GGEA represents the entire spectrum of enterprises and institutions engaged in Ghanaian-German relations, ranging from small and medium sized companies to the large German corporations and Ghanaian-German joint-ventures, including German and Ghanaian public institutions.
