Even before President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo nominates the full complement of his Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have promised to violently deal with any appointee who will sabotage his government.
One of such youth groups is in the Salaga South constituency where they have vowed to violently beat to pulp any DCE whose actions are aimed at bringing down the NPP government.
The Salaga South constituency communications officer of the party Mr. Abudu Habib (Abiola) who is leading the crusade has therefore sent a strong warning to the DCE hopefuls in the East Gonja District to work hard to retain the seat currently occupied by the party
“I’m putting it on record, the youth of salaga especially the New Patriotic Party youth will beat up any DCE should he/she donate uncle Sally’s seat to the NDC by sabotaging the party”.
Mr. Abiola said he believes the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area Adams Salifu Braimah will work hard to deliver Salaga and that it is up to the DCE who will be appointed by the president to complement his work
Meanwhile the Youth of Salaga have expressed worry in the delay by president Nana Addo to announce the various MMDCEs across the country and think this is affecting the proper functioning of the various institutions that are critical in assisting him deliver his campaign promises to the country.
