Slowly things are turning around for Ghana.But most people will not feel the direct impact if the President continue the old practice of exporting our jobs to foreign owned companies.Majority of NPP'so programs can be fulfilled by Ghanaian companies if they are given a chance. Example is the affordable housing project.With the assistance of the government we can set up private firms of builders who will use Ghana produced cement,concrete, rods,glass,wood and labour among other products to build series of those three level apartments in all the regions.Yes foreign firms can build better or nicer ones for us but they got to where they are now because their governments took a chance on them and assisted with their growth. With the availability of affordable heavy machinery and equipments at the Chinese market we cannot be stopped by the West with impossible preconditions and inflated prices.Our only excuses for exporting jobs will be lack of foresight in our leadership and sheer stupidity.What is preventing our Government from assisting Ghanaian Builders to get the machinery,equipments and training to build apartments and roads not just in Ghana but in other friendly African countries who could use an alternative affordable services?It has been over 60 years!It is time Ghana stopped being the wild eyed youth at Kumasi mall who spends his very limited money on sweetened brightly coloured drinks just to impress.We need to take our rightful place as merchants and service providers.
