Winifred Darko wins 2nd MoneyGram car

Winifred Koranteng Darkwa, a lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus (UEWK), became the proud winner of a new Suzuki Alto car from MoneyGram Ghana at 60’ Promotion’.

She won her car prize after receiving a money transfer on MoneyGram at UBA Tanoso branch in Kumasi.

The Suzuki Alto car comes with one-year comprehensive insurance. Her prize brings to two, the number of people that have won cars since the promotion started.

Four individuals (Mr. Bawa Abubakari, Madam Veronica Adjei Sarpong, Madam Vida Addai and Janet Yaa Achia) also received Simbo electric grill prizes electronic items which they won when they received MoneyGram transactions at UBA Tanoso Branch.

As part of the promotion, customers who receive money transfer through MoneyGram at participating MoneyGram partner bank/locations would be given a scratch card and they would be presented with any item on the card after they had scratched.

Mr. Ato Baiden, a representative of MoneyGram, stated that MoneyGram has introduced the promotion to reward their loyal customers as part of Ghana’s 60th Independence Anniversary.

He mentioned that Madam Love Oduro won the first Suzuki Alto car at the ADB Nungua branch in Accra, adding that six cars in total and 200 consolation prizes would be presented freely to lucky MoneyGram customers during the promotion.

Daniel Kofi Boamah, the UBA Tanoso Branch Manager congratulated the winners and urged customers to continuously receive their MoneyGram transfers through his bank, stating that “My bank is a lucky bank so do business with us and win in the MoneyGram promotion”.
