We do not need barbarism as a reminder but then we never learn in Ghana do we? For 60 plus years politicians have ignored the importance of strong and effective institutions just as they ignored the importance of the nation's infrastructure to national development. I have no tolerance for stupidity at my age, no not after years of seeing ignorance from our political and educated elite class. After the 1966 coup we were a happy bunch thinking our leaders would learn from the do not or excesses of the Nkrumah era. Instead we saw the hate that ate at the NPP folks who saw nothing worth saving from the Nkrumah era even as the country got from destroying and selling CPP era government assets then turn around to appropriate money to buy assets at prices only fools for leadership will do. Is there any past and or current government administration official who can look Ghanaians, smart Ghanaians not the dumb, tribal kokoase kinds, in the eyes and explain any of the many ignorant decisions made away? Is it because? we do not care for human life, or just plain intellectually inferior we can't help be stay ignorant? Why do we ignore security agencies and encourage vigilantism as viable alternative? Is it ignorance that would help us sell off CPP era land and government housing and then turn around to realize Ghana is and has been in housing shortages crises for over 40 years? Do we need a rise in burglaries, murder and mayhem to finally understand we cannot have a peaceful society with a few filthy rich who stole government funds to become super rich while most citizens lived below poverty? So for those who think we need gruesome deaths come at the hands of barbarians to learn I say we have been barbarians for 60 plus years now with no reliable electricity, no indoor plumbing and reliable pipe borne water, no reliable city drainage systems and above all no wise men with foresight for far too long. And if we do need yearly reminders of how far NPP hatred for non NPP tribes continue to drive all the evil in society then why not setup a day in a year where we officially burn those NPP see as a threat to their very unholy existence?
