Tue, 29 Apr 1997 Source: --

Gbugblah(E/R) The people of Gbugblah, a farming community in the Fanteakwa district, and the literacy class of the Non- Formal Education Division have constructed two hand-dug wells to alleviate their water shortage problem. The Asafoatse of the area, Opanin Kwaku Oppong Kyekyeku, and the adult literacy facilitator, Mr Richard Kofi Tetteh, disclosed this when they took newsmen to inspect the project. Mr Tetteh said the well has brought a great relief to the people who rely on dirty water for six months every year. He appealed to the Fanteakwa District Assembly to provide them with cement and roofing sheets to protect the well.
