The Minister of Interior and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nandom Constituency of the Upper West Region, Ambrose P. Dery has appealed to the rank and file of the party to put the rancor and bickering behind them and focus on helping prosecute the agenda of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“We have won five seats but we should not pretend there are no problems. There were problems between those of us who were parliamentary candidates and those behind…. today please on behalf of our ancestors and founding fathers, lets forgive each other and move ahead. I am asking if there are any problems from us the MPs, Regional Executives and Constituency Executives, let us forgive each other and support the administration of President Nana Akufo-Addo”, he pleaded during the Upper West Regional New Patriotic Conference on Sunday.

He charged the party to make efforts aimed at healing wounds and forgive each other towards making the NPP a formidable force to reckon with.

Mr Dery reminded party supporters that the region is recognized as the original home of the UP tradition which lost its way and became a stronghold of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), commending them for pooling efforts in winning back five seats.

“We are the original home of the UP tradition but we lost our way and became the so-called stronghold of the NDC. Thanks to all of us that we have now been up by 5 seats. Let us unite and support Nana Addo to deliver his mandate to Ghanaians. The teeth and tongue fight but they still leave together . Be patient with government to get you the jobs it promised ….Work together, forward ever and backwards never “, he emphasized.
