Viewers of TV3 last Monday watched in disbelief when the editor of the weekly Insight, Mr. Kwesi Pratt exposed the editor of the Statesman, Mr. Gabby Otchere-Darko during his (Darko's) primme AIRTIME with Gabby.
The programme also hosted another editor Mr. Kweko Baako Jnr, editor of the Crusading Guide whose posture throughout the programme was "I am right in all I do and say. Everybody else is wrong".
During the tail end of the programme, the host whose agenda obviously was to ridicule Kwesi Pratt with his questions told Kwesi that it was Nana Fitz, former husband of Miss Faustina Nelson who came to tell him that Kwesi Pratt Jnr came with his driver to deposit the so-called $125,000 in his (Nana Fitz's) house for safe keeping.
" Oh, but Gabby, you know I don't have a driver so how could I have come to Nana Fitz's house with a driver?" Kwesi asked Gabby.
Caught of guard, Gabby quickly changed his story and told Kwesi Pratt that what Nana Fitz really said was that Kwesi came with a driver to deposit the money there for safe keeping.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr has come under attack from some journalists and social commentators because he has refused to sing the praise song of the NPP as other journalists like Kweku Baako Jnr, Gabby Otchere Darko, Faibelle, Haruna Atta, Osbert Lartey, Gina Blay and other journalists are singing.
An attempt was made to frame Kwesi Pratt as having received a bribe of $125,000 from the NDC but this blackmail has failed terribly.
Kwesi Pratt has stood out as one of the few journalists who will neither sing the praise song of the NDC nor the NPP but is ready to give the devil his due.
