Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak are on the verge of signing of Yahaya Mohammed, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
Mohammed joined Tanzania Premier League club Azam FC in the off-season after an impressive season for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
However, the maverick forward is now a free agent after his contract with the club was terminated for unknown reasons.
Yahaya and Hearts of Oak have been locked in negotiations since last week, and reports reaching GHANAsoccernet.com indicate that the rasta-haired forward is delighted with the contract presented by the Phobians.
The Premier League giants have identified the former Asante Kotoko marksman as a perfect replacement for Kwame Kizito who is set to join Swedish side Hacken BK in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the club are reported to have opened negotiations with Abednego Tetteh, Amos Korankye, Kwasi Donsu, Ernest Sowah, Eric Donkor and Farouk Mohammed of Elmina Sharks.
