Goal keeper of Asante Kotoko, Felix Annan has revealed his side’s participation in Africa’s second ranked club competition is not going to be a walk in the park but believes with hard work, the porcupine warriors can make Ghana proud.
The former WAFA shot stopper admits playing in the CAF Confederations Cup is a big stage with quality players all over Africa coming to show but Asante Kotoko will go in strongly to be counted at the end.
“We are not just going to be show but will compete very well to prevail. It is not an easy tournament with quality players and good clubs but we will do our best to make our fans proud”, Annan told Asempa Fm.
Felix Annan kept the poles as Asante Kotoko beat Hearts of Oak 3-1 at the Tamale sports stadium in October to grab that slot to represent Ghana at this season’s Confederations Cup.
