Highlife musician and a supporter of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A-Plus, has hinted that some members of Nana B’s campaign team wanted to bribe him to support Nana B but he had to turn down the offer.

According to the musician, one Nana Prempeh Okogyeabour called him and told him that he has some money for him when he (A-Plus) asked where the money is coming from Nana Prempeh told the musician that it is from Nana B’s campaign.

He said he told Nana Prempeh “I don’t do that. Nobody can buy my conscience”.

Kwame A-Plus in a Facebook live video noted that some of his campaign team members and supporters are very desperate and childish with the way they are approaching the campaign.

He warned that even though it is an internal contest, the supporters should make sure that they are not doing things that created a certain perception about Nana Akufo-Addo in 2007.

“You people should make sure that you are not doing the same thing that was done to *Nana Addo in 2007 that created a certain perception about Nana that he has shown clearly that that is not who he is*,” he said.

The ‘Aben Be Bom’ hitmaker further alleged that Nana B’s campaign team members have been promising the delegates of the party one hundred thousand Ghana cedis.

The Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has expressed interest in contesting the National Youth Organiser position of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Many party loyalists have endorsed his candidature as the perfect replacement for Sammy Awuku who is also vying for the National Organiser of the party.
