The Tema shipyard has held its end of year thanksgiving for its management and staff to inspire hope for the future.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Tema Shipyard, Captain Kwesi Micah said the year 2017 has seen increased business at the shipyard.
“The Shipyard has already successfully undergone the initial stages of process fine-tuning, implementation of occupational health and safety, waste management, air quality management, water reuse plan, among others.
The target to get full certification by the second quarter of 2018 is very much on course,” he expressed optimism.
Dedicated retirees for the year 2017 were honoured for their immense contribution to the improvement of the Tema shipyard.
