A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant which will produce HIV/AIDS antiretroviral, anti-malaria and other drugs by September 2004 is being established at Baatsona, on the Spintex Road in Accra.

The first phase of the project is estimated at 2 million US dollars and is being undertaken jointly by Adams Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd. of China and Danpong Pharmaceuticals Co. Ltd. of Ghana.
