Nandom Naa appointed Chairman of IDA Board

Accra, Aug.2, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor in consultation with the Council of State has appointed the Nandom Naa Dr Puore Puobe Chiir VII as Chairman of the reconstituted Board of the Irrigation Development Authority (IDA).

A statement issued in Accra on Monday and signed by Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Press Secretary to the President, said the full complement of the Board would be announced soon.

Naa Chiir is the Paramount Chief of the Nandom Traditional Area in the Upper West Region.
