Arsenal are making their first European quarter-final since 2010
Hello good evening and welcome to another night of European football. After two fascinating days of Champions League football, we round off the week with some action in the Europa League quarter-finals.
Tonight, Arsenal face CSKA Moscow in their first European quarter-final for eight years as they look to return to the Champions League via the Europa League.
A very impressive 5-1 aggregate win over AC Milan in the last-16 stage keeps Arsene Wenger and Co. in the hunt for their first European crown in almost a quarter of a century.
With Milan dispatched with, the Gunners main threats to the competition is, arguably, just Atletico Madrid, who face Sporting in the last eight.
CSKA are no pushovers, though, and edged out Lyon on away goals in the previous round. The two teams have met twice before, in the Champions League in 2006, with Arsenal losing one and drawing the other 0-0.
Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid are up against Sporting CP while Lazio are also up against Salzburg.
