The General Overseer of the Church of Rabbi, Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, has sacrificed a goat and a sheep as pacification to God to prevent a looming earthquake bound to hit the country soon from occurring.

The sacrifice comes on the heels of some revelations made by Prophet Kwabena Tawiah about two months ago of an emerging earthquake likely to hit the country this month.

He explained that the severity of the earthquake has never been recorded in Africa and hence calls for prayers.

"The Bible says in the last days there will be wars, fighting earthquake among others which has happened in some countries already. These countries were torn apart as a result of these. It is time for Ghana to have an earthquake too.

"I told the nation about two months ago of an earthquake that is about to hit the country later part of May or early June as a result of our sins, I said we needed to pray and so we are here to pray and ensure it does not happen, I am therefore sacrificing a goat and a sheep now as a form of sacrifice to God as enjoined by the scriptures in the book of Leviticus to push it to the borders of some other countries even though the trails may be seen in Ghana". He noted.

He however appealed to Christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ who led a holy life while on earth in order to prevent Ghana from experiencing such disaster in future.

The Prophet after a vigil prayer session with members of the church placed the animals into a flame of fire as they died slowly.

Prophet Tawiah further advised the youth to desist from engaging in all forms of social vices which has the tendency to affect their future.

According to him, some youth in their quest to obtain wealth engage in all forms of negative practices.

This he said has the tendency to affect their well being especially towards the realisation of their goals in life.

He also attributed the fallen moral standards in society to the failure of state Institutions in enforcing certain laws. He said “Look at what is happening on TV these days.

There are lots of programmes showing quick methods of making money. Everybody is trying to provide some form of money or the other. Propagating same sex marriages, Is that what we want as a country.

"That is why we are confronted with so much problems". He added.
