The United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited yesterday presented first batch of prizes to winners of the three month MasterCard promotion at the head office in Accra.
The presentation ceremony took place at the head office of UBA Ghana, Ridge Accra.
Winners for the month of April received $100 each with five top issuing business offices receiving $500 each. The presentation of the first prizes means that the road to Royal SenchiResort for a sponsored weekend has only begun.
UBA (Ghana) through this collaboration with MasterCard seek to increase card usage among customers and help become a dominant player in the cards and e-payment space in Ghana.
In an address at the presentation ceremony, the Deputy Managing Director of UBA (Ghana), Soni Anwal said the promotion was launched to give customers the chance to win great prizes while strengthening UBA’s relationship with our customers.
“Last year, we completed our Awoof promotion and presented the three Bedroom House to Mr. Anthony Mensah at the East Legon Hills. It is understandable that as a brand that has been at the forefront of customer service in the country, our customers have great expectations. While we look at expanding our services in the digital space, it is important that we indulge our customers in the process”. He said.
Mr. Soni Anwal pledged commitment of UBA (Ghana) to modernising ways of banking to help make the banking experience easy, needful and comfortable for customer experience that makes the lives of customers better.
He congratulated Mr. Edward Prah, a customer of the Ring Road Business office who was present to receive his prize.
The promotion is running for three months from the 12th of March 2018 to the 12th June 2018, during which winners will be selected at the end of each month, based on highest transactions and highest card usages, and rewarded accordingly.
Customers are encouraged to continue using their UBA MasterCard.
The cars are available at any UBA business office.
