Metro TV, according to GRA’s debt management and compliance enforcement unit has failed to perform its tax obligations and, thus owes government GHC2.3 million.

Assistant Commissioner in charge of Public Affairs at the GRA, Kwasi Bobie-Ansah said the GHC2.3m is the total sum of tax owed the GRA from 2014 to 2018.

Entry has been restricted into the Cantonment premises of the television station with a seal of the GRA.

In 2017, the GRA closed down Metro TV over similar issue of tax default.
