Three lucky winners were given electrical appliances in the Big Millennium Raffle 2018
For the second time, the draw for the Big Millennium Raffle 2018 was held at the premises of Whirlpool at La in Accra where three lucky participants won expensive electrical appliances.
With the special presence of the Face of the Millennium Marathon and some Ambassadors, namely, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, Mr. Fitness Akoto and Roddy Morgan, the programme was very exciting as the National Lotteries Authority declared the winners in a transparent, free and fair manner.
Andrews Amanya from Somanya took the third prize of a MicroWave Oven, Solomon Adjei won the second successful draw of a refrigerator and an elated Mr. Raphael Atta Kumi won the first prize of a deep freezer.
He described the event as very transparent and any body who has registered can win.
Leonard Nii Tackie Tackie, Marketing Manager of Ederick, representatives of Whirlpool, Panasonic and EDK top quality electrical appliances said his company share the same goals with the marathon like international quality standards and promoting healthy lifestyle and a clean environment.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, one of the ambassadors urged people to register for the Millennium Marathon and win prizes.
Mariam Ismail, the face of the event who comes from Tanzania also advised more females to join the event scheduled for 22nd September at the Black Star Square in Accra.
Some of the sponsors of the marathon are Twellium Industries, Japan Motors, Unilever, Blue Skies, MenzGold, Allianz Insurance, Papaye, Accra Mall, Wigal, Can-West, Royal Habits, Whirlpool, Emirates and ddp.
The event is being backed by the AMA, Ministry of Youth &Sports and the Ministries of Health and Tourism.
