Kotoko-Hearts second leg clash records improved proceeds

The second leg of the Asante Kotoko-Hearts of Oak friendly clash on Sunday recorded gross proceeds of GHc149, 795, 000.

The amount is almost double of the GHc 75,000 reported to have been realized in the first leg encounter a week ago.

Both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will share the proceeds equally after all deductions are made.

The two-legged friendly clash between the two Ghanaian giants was organized primarily to raise funds for the club.

It was also used to keep the players of both teams active during his period of no official football in Ghana.

Kotoko won both games with a 2-0 scoreline to complete the friendly with an aggregate win of 4-0.
