Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has vowed not to underrate Kenya when the two sides meet in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
Appiah made the pledge when the Black Stars arrived in Nairobi on Thursday night for the Group F match to be played in the capital city.
The Black Stars have been tipped as the favourites for the match but the coach Appiah insists they will not underrate the home side.
“Kenya is a good team, we can never underrate them," the former Ghana international defender Kwesi Appiah said on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
"I know it’s not going to be easy because they play in front of home supporters, but I will put out a team that will give a good show.”
Coach Migne’s charges face a daunting task as they host Group F leaders Ghana who beat Ethiopia 5-0 in the opening group clash.
Kenya currently sits third on the group having suffered a 2-1 defeat against Sierra Leone back in June last year.
Should Kenya win all their home encounter they stand a real chance of qualifying for the 2019 Afcon that is set to be hosted by Cameroon.
