Chinese bosses who allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old Ghanaian
The 19-year-old teenage Ghanaian who was stabbed by his Chinese bosses in Kumasi last week, Peter Frimpong, has disclosed to Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the evidence to support the attack on him has been tampered with.
He told Kwame Tutu Monday morning the company where the incident occurred records every movement and activity of workers and uses same to sanction those who are caught sleeping on duty.
However, when the police visited the company to have first hand information over what happened, the owners of the company said the incident was not recorded.
A Chinese Manager of plastic manufacturing firm in Kumasi and his assistant were last week arrested for stabbing a Ghanaian worker. Peter Frimpong, a factory hand was stabbed three times at the neck back and palm over laxity at work.
Liu Zhen Zhong 32, the manager of the enterprise, which recycles plastics into polythelene bags at Fabi in Kumasi, is alleged to have stabbed the 19 year old over why he was sitting idle at work. His assistant Liu Wan 34 was also arrested.
Peter Frimpong narrating his ordeal told the host he was on night shift on the day the incident occurred and while working, his boss approached him and asked him to drop a scissors he was working with because he [boss] disliked it.
According to him, after dropping the scissors, the boss attempted slapping him ‘’I dodged and all of a sudden, his assistant walked towards where I was and gave me three dirty slaps. He then pushed me to the ground, the boss then gave him the scissors which he used to stab several times.’’
‘’He then went for a knife and attempted to stab me in the neck with it but I blocked it with my hand but the knife cut me in the neck. I struggled to escape from them.
I bled profusely and had one to defend me. I later managed to jump a wall and run to another company where I managed to call my brother before I was sent to the hospital,’’ he said.
