Ghana coach Abdul Karim Zito says his side are poised to brush aside any opponent that comes their way at the ongoing Wafu Zone B Championship which serves as qualifiers for the 2019 Africa Under-17 Cup of Nations.

The Black Starlets are one of four remaining teams battling for the sole right to play at Tanzania next year.

A fierce semifinal clash with Cote d'Ivoire awaits on Wednesday, with the winner guaranteed to move a step closer to the all-important ticket.

“Every team is here to play, win and make it to the African Championships and so there are no easy teams left," Zito said, as reported by Citinewsroom.

"We have overcome the situation that had us panicking and we are now warming up into the tournament.

"We welcome any country and we have no fears.”

Ghana began the tournament with a 0-0 draw with hosts Niger, before edging Togo 2-1 in their second and last group game to make the last four.

The Wafu Zone B Championship is in line with Caf's new resolution to play mini regional qualifying tournament to decide the final participants for the U-17 Afcon.

The top four teams at the Afcon will represent the continent at the World Cup.
