Former Ghana international and current Black Stars goalkeeping coach Richard 'Olele' Kingson has expressed sadness over the conduct of the football association's Normalisation Committee towards the national outfit.

The interim administrative body, set up by Fifa/Caf to restore normalcy on the back of a turbulent bribery, corruption and match-fixing scandal which led to the breakdown of the substantive FA, is currently the functional football governing body in the west African nation.

Kingson believes the unit could pay more attention to the Black Stars in their quest to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to hold in Cameroon.

"The former GFA Executive Committee members used to visit and motivate us to boost our morale in camp prior to any game.

”But it’s never so with this Normalization Committee members as none visited us ahead of the games against Sierra Leone [which were cancelled at the eleventh hour].

”It’s not the first time it has happened. Even ahead of our game against Kenya, none of them stepped foot in camp, neither did they send anyone to present their well-wishes to us.

”It was we the technical team that did everything on our own. No member of the Normalisation Committee has ever paid a visit to the Black Stars since we started the Afcon qualifiers.”

The Normalisation Committee is expected to lead Ghana's game until March 31, 2019.

The Black Stars, on the other hand, return to action next month with an away fixture against Ethiopia in the Afcon qualifiers.
