Kwadwo Asamoah involved in training on Wednesday
The ‘apparently unpatriotic’ and mysteriously superstitious inter Milan defender and Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah, who is unavailable for Ghana’s crunch game against Ethiopia on Sunday for what Ghanaians have been made to believe as a result of an injury, trained with his club on Wednesday.
The player on Monday, withdrew from the Black Stars squad to face Ethiopia in the 2019 AFCON qualifier game against Ethiopia with an excuse that he picked an injury in Inter Milan’s Serie A match against Atalanta over the weekend.
But Images published on the club’s website on Wednesday saw the Ghanaian midfielder busily training with his teammates which has raised doubt about the authenticity of the said injury.
The former Juventus star, made a return to the Black Stars team after a four-year absence when he featured in the Black Stars’ Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
The images posted have raised questions in Ghana as to how the player recovered quickly from the said injury in few days to join his teammates at training on Wednesday.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges commenced training in Kenya on Wednesday ahead of the game in Addis Ababa on Sunday.
