The Founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Maame Akua Donkoh has described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as wicked for signing $50 billion century bond with China indicating he has tied the destiny of Ghana to the Asian country, MyNewsGh.com can report.

Ghana and China signed agreements and memorandum of understanding, in different sectors of their respective economies, aimed at deepening the ties of cooperation and the bonds of friendship that exist between the two countries.

The agreement was among 8 to be signed in September this year after the president and Xi Jinping held bilateral talks as part of President Akufo-Addo’s state visit to China.

The rest are “Framework Agreement on Financing Insurance Cooperation” ($2 billion Sino-Hydro deal), “Economic cooperation on phase 2 project of the University of Health and Allied Science at Ho, Cooperation on the expansion of the Cape Coast Stadium and Cooperation on the supply of police vehicles to the Ghana Police Service.

But Maame Akua Donkoh speaking on Abusua Fm drive show hosted by Ike Unpredictable and monitored by MyNewsGh.com said President Akufo-Addo has sold Ghanaians into bondage.

According to her, the bond will have dire consequences on Ghana’s economy saying President Nana Addo’s aim of signing the bond is to sell Ghana to the Chinese.

“Ghana is now going back to slavery after Kwame Nkrumah gave us freedom. Akufo-Addo’s government is simply going to mortgage the future of the country. Akufo-Addo should have considered the restraints the bond will have on generations to come before deciding on the move. The bond will have bad impact on our future generation and they are going to suffer for it. Akufo-Addo will not go to heaven for signing that wicked bond” she cursed.
