His Royal Majesty Torgbe Sri on a historic visit to Manhyia

His Royal Majesty Torgbe Sri III, the Awormefia of Anlo State will visit the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Sunday December 16, 2018.

His visit is to honor an invitation by the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, to be a special guest of honor at this year's Akwasidae.

Announcing the visit in Kumasi, Otumfour's Chief of Staff, Mr Kofi Badu said the Awormefia's visit will “mark the celebration of longstanding friendship between the Ashanteman and the Anlo State as part of Otumfuo’s efforts to promote national cohesion and inter-ethnic harmony” .

“Awormefia is expected to travel with a routine of some 150 people” – the statement added.
