Stratcomm has received the Professional Services Provider of the Year (2017)
Strategic Communication Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa), a communications company headquartered, in Accra, has received the Professional Services Provider of the Year (2017), at the Chamber Business Awards.
This adds to the 2017 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of the Year Award it won for its Ghana Garden and Flower Show, from the Centre for CSR, West Africa, presented at the Ghana CSR Excellence Awards, in Accra.
The Chamber Business Awards was organised by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), in Accra, under the theme: “Empowering the Private Sector to Move Ghana Beyond Aid”.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency, and signed by Mr Francis Sam, the Media Relations Officer of Stratcomm Africa, quoted the company’s Business Development Manager as saying: “Stratcomm is determined to continue to deploy its expertise and decades of experience in the communication profession to help promote behaviours that facilitate national development and individual livelihood enhancement.”
These are being achieved through their initiatives such as the Ghana Garden and Flower show, Praise Jam and Women Empowerment Campaigns.
The statement explained that the Business Awards ceremony sought to celebrate the finest Ghanaian businesses, which had demonstrated excellence in leadership and innovation in contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
It was also aimed at recognising project and individual achievements that distinguished their businesses from competitors by producing clear value and compelling results.
On the Flower Show Initiative, it said the award was in recognition of how Stratcomm Africa had grown the Garden and Flower Show and increased public awareness on the importance of environmental conservation.
