The Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) in charge of the Tema Port, Josephine Asante, has been stabbed to death at her residence in Tema Community 25.
The murder happened Saturday night after she had returned from a party for senior staff.
She was killed in her bedroom.
Her assailants, according to information gathered by Class News, locked the bedroom and flung away the key as they made their getaway.
Asante’s body was found in a puddle of blood the next morning after her neighbours saw the key to her room on the compound and opened the door.
Nothing was stolen in the room. Her laptop, phones, jewellery, and everything else were intact.
She was survived by a 12-year-old boy who has been relocated by the management of GPHA.
The police are investigating the matter.
