IGP orders for investigation into Suale's murder be moved from Madina police station to Headquarters

The family of the murdered undercover journalist with Tiger Eye PI, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, is pleading with the Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID)of the Ghana Police Service to get to the bottom of the murder of their son.

In line with this, the CID has with the permission of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr David Asante-Apeatu moved the investigation of the murder from Madina Police station to the National Headquarters of the CID.

This came to light when the Director – General of the CID, DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah and her team paid a visit to the bereaved family of late Hussein Suale Ahmed at the family house in Madina on Tuesday.

The visit was first to commiserate with the bereaved family and the wives, get first-hand information of the incident and the way forward.

Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo – Danquah, the Boss of the CID was accompanied by ACP Oklu Gyamerah, Director of Operation of the CID, ACP Afriyie Sakyi, Madina Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendents Martin O. Appiah, Madina District Commander, Alex Asamoa-Frimpong, Madina Divisional Crime Officer, Superintendent Hanson Gove from the CID headquarters, DSP Yao Dzansi Madina District Crime Officer, DSP Miss Olivia Turkson PRO, CID and ASP Mr. Bright Gakpa.

The CID Boss and her team were welcomed by the chief of the Dagomba Community in Madina who was very appreciative of the visit and said that the visit was a signal showing the commitment and readiness of the CID to unravel the murder, promising that the family will cooperate with the Police and hoped the Police will conduct a proper investigation to arrest the perpetrators.

According to him, in Islamic Sharia law, all deaths are given to Allah without revenge but finding Siale’s killer is important to the family.

The CID team visited the two widows of the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
