Black Stars deputy coach Maxwell Konadu has urged Asante Kotoko to improve defensively to be able to get positive results from their clash with Nkana FC on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors will take on the Zambian side at the Nnkana Stadium in Kitwe on Sunday in the third Group C game of the CAF Confederation Cup.
And the former Kotoko trainer who won the league with the club believes his former side must avoid conceding to beat the Zambians.
“I think Kotoko can come home with a good outcome if they work well defensively. The team is doing well just that they concede goals which are avoidable sometimes.’
“So if they work well, they can get a favourable outcome,” he told Ark FM in Sunyani.
The Porcupine Warriors have conceded at least a goal in all the games they’ve played in the Confederation Cup so far but for their clash with Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya.
