Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said Ghana will continue to collaborate and co-operate with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) to safeguard maritime business and enhance capacity building in the industry.
Dr Bawumia said this when the Secretary General of (IMO), Mr Kitack Lim paid a courtesy call on him at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, 2 April 2019.
This is the first visit by a Secretary General of the IMO to Ghana.
Dr Bawumia and Mr Lim discussed issues related to Maritime activities, including security and ways of boosting trade.
