The Reverend Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Pastor in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation of the Presbyterian Church on Sunday declared that Jesus Christ did not remain in the grave when he was killed
“Jesus indeed resurrected from the dead, giving him power over death,” he said explaining that till date some people doubt the resurrection story but Jesus Christ is Alive”
“If Christ did not resurrect, Christianity will not have existed,” he said during the sermon on Easter Sunday.
The sermon was on the theme: ‘Christ Victory over Death.’
Rev. Ayim admonished Christians to seek God with a good heart, “eschew sin and evil, rise up from your sins, bury all your sins with Christ’s death and resurrect with righteousness.”
The Reverend Minister who is also in charge of the Mount Moriah Prayer Centre, a prayer and retreat centre for the Ga Presbytery said if you know Jesus Christ and the power of his resurrection, then be assured that all that is needed in your life God will do it.
He said: “because of the resurrection, our victory is assured.”
