A Reverend Minister of the Grace Impact Ministry, a Christian denomination in Sunyani, Pastor Prince Amannor has admonished that Churches must always lead the crusade to promote peace and unity for holistic national development.
He said a nation could only develop holistically when there was peace, love and unity among the citizenry and therefore, Christians in Ghana owned it a duty to demonstrate these “indispensable factors” to propel Ghana’s progress.
Pastor Amannor made the call in a sermon on the theme: “Jesus Loves Me, My God is More than Enough” at the Church’s convention on Sunday at Domeabra-Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality.
He emphasised that the death of Jesus Christ portrayed the love of God unto mankind and Christians must emulate to co-exist even with non-Christians in a harmonious environment but, Pastor Amannor stressed “we must desist from immoralities and live in true repentance to gain eternal life”.
