The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr says if care is not taken, the negatives being recorded in the fight against galamsey can collapse the entire campaign.
He made this comment while reacting to the NDC’s ‘Moment of Truth’, on Wednesday’s edition of Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) at a 'Moment of Truth' press briefing led by its National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi described President Akufo-Addo’s galamsey fight as a monumental failure.
But Kweku Baako disagrees
According to him, “there’ve been gains and so I disagree that the whole galamsey fight has been a failure or fiasco . . . there have been some positives and negatives and those negatives if not checked can collapse the entire campaign. The potential for the spectacular failure is there; the seeds are there.”
