Bechem United will ‘double up’ on Abdul Fatawu as they bid to thwart the Asante Kotoko superstar in their Normalization Special Cup week ten clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Fatawu is enjoying a superb season with the Porcupines, scoring 6 goals after eight matches played in the competition.

The Hunters head coach Nii Armah Isaac in an exclusive interview with GhanaCrusader.com rated Abdul Fatawu Safiu as “one of the best players in the local scene” and is ready to ‘double up’ on the former Inter Allies goal poacher in the Special Cup encounter.

“You can’t just find specific tactics for an individual player but I believe my defenders will work on him and prevent him from scoring. We have players who have been assigned to deal with Fatawu and I trust him to have a good day coming up against the latter.”

He is a fantastic player. I watched him in our game against Kotoko in Bechem and he was really forcing to pull strings for his side which he scored through the spot to equalize for Kotoko.”

Nii Armah has been on the wrong end of some stinging result since taking over the club last month, having lost his last two games to Eleven Wonders and Aduana Stars. Bechem United are languishing 6th on the tally log with 7 points.
