Newsfile Host, Samson Lardy Anyenini, in this weekend’s edition of the show hosted panelists including Good morning Ghana TV Host, Randy Abbey, Lawyer and Member of the NDC’s National communications Team, Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, Lawyer Robert Nii Arday Clegg and regular panelist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako who is Managing Editor for the New Crusading Guide newspaper.

Rather unusually, talks moved from the originally centered politics to span a number of areas; from sports to entertainment and business but of course still made time for some politics.

Whiles the brawl which turned the entertainment industry upside down still trends, panelists took time to analyse issues regarding the most recent updates; the ban on the two artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale by event organisers; Charterhouse from the biggest entertainment award show by far; the VGMAs.

The Black Stars captaincy row and the supposedly needless tension also featured especially with the new selection of Dede Ayew as former Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan’s replacement as new captain for the National team.

Focus was also placed on the Bank collapse and government efforts to retrieve lost properties. The receivers of the seven failed banks have started legal proceedings against 50 directors and shareholders for their roles in the collapse of the banks. The banks are uniBank Ghana Ltd, the UT Bank, the Capital Bank, the Royal Bank, the Construction Bank, the Beige Bank and the Heritage Bank.

Also dominating discussions Saturday was the subject of the 2016 election and claims and or rather allegations of hacking and rigging that have emerged by Former President, John Dramani Mahama. Question was there full foreign control of the EC system?
