Member of Parliament for Tamale South Constituency Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has exclusively told FootballMadeInGhana.com that there is no iota of truth in reports that he’s the new owner of Wa All Stars.

The Parliamentarian debunked reports when he exclusively disclosed that there is no truth in the reports and he’s not the new owner of the Wa-based Premier League side.

“It’s not true. There’s no deal,” Hon. Haruna Iddrisu told footballmadeinghana.com when asked about the reports of his purchase of the club.

Reports had been deep in the media that former Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi had sold the club to the Tamale South MP following a ban from FIFA from all football related activities.

The reports had further indicated that the club was on its way to Tamale from Wa following the purchase, but Hon. Iddrisu says the story is untrue.

Wa All Stars was earlier reported to have been sold to former Ghana international John Paintsil, but the reports also ended up being false as the sale process got truncated.
