It’s an all boys affair this morning at the University of Ghana Business School as five-time champions; Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (Presec) face off Pope John’s Senior High and Seminary School (Pojoss) and St. Johns School in the quarterfinal stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
The competition is expected to be tight as all three schools battle their way out to qualify to the semi-finals stage of the contest.
Pojoss, in the one eight stage, led with 36 points pushing aside Notre Dame Girls’ SHS and regional rivals Koforidua SHTS with 23 and 18 points respectively.
Presec also battled it out with Assin State College and Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS) winning the contest with 47 points. Assin State College and Opass amassed 31 and 25 points to place second and third respectively.
St. Johns also dominated in their last stage with 38 points while Tamale Islamic Senior SHS and Archibishop Porter Gils’ SHS had 34 points and 22 points respectively.
Who wins in this competition as all three schools fight their way to the next stage.
