Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to appoint Felix Annan as the new captain for the club ahead of the coming season.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands the 24 year old goalkeeper will assume the captaincy role following the departure of Amos Frimpong to Kaloum stars.
Felix has been has been serving as the club’s deputy skipper for the past three seasons and has been a key player for the club since returning from his loan spell from WAFA.
The club will confirm his new role before their season opener against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League.
Felix was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the just ended 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt where they were eliminated at the round of 16 by Tunisia on penalties.
He was recently awarded the goalkeeper of the year at the Ghana Football Awards.
