Accra, March 13, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra Sunday morning for Togo to attend the funeral of the late Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema. President Kufuor was accompanied by Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku, Minister of State for NEPAD and Regional Integration, Mr Alan Kyeremanten, Minister of Trade and Industry and Mr Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, Minister of Works and Housing. Vice President Aliu Mahama saw off President Kufuor at the airport. The late President Eyadema, who ruled Togo for more than 30 years died on February 5, this year at the age of 69.
