Kumasi, March 17, GNA- The Association of Communications and Business Centres (ASSOCOM) has complained about the introduction of Spacefon PWAP cordless phone, popularly known as "Space to Space" which according to them had pushed them out of business.

Members of the Association are therefore finding it difficult to pay the salaries of employees, utility bills and their taxes.

The executives of ASSOCOM made the complain at a meeting with Mr Charles Abunyewah, Head of Public Relations and Tax Education Unit of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in Kumasi to educate members of the Association on the newly introduced tax stamp. Abunyewah told the members that they could purchase the new tax quarterly.

Mr G.A. Wiredu, secretary of ASSOCOM advised his colleagues to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the IRS to honour their tax obligations.
