The President of think tank, IMANI Ghana has described the Akufo-Addo led government as the worse in terms of dealing with corruption issues.
In a Facebook post, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe said the degree and level of thievery exhibited by some appointees of President Akufo-Addo cannot be compared to what happened in the erstwhile Mahama administration.
“We mocked the previous administration for ‘funny’ initiatives such as “youth in potholes filling” and kicked it out of office.
Then the new administration took the ‘funny’, polished it and gave it light with “training youth in street lights repairs,” he lamented.
His rant follows the trouble looming at the National Youth Authority (NYA) as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri has been asked to resign by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare. The NYA CEO was fired over some procurement breaches.
The office of the Chief of Staff was petitioned by some persons over alleged questionable procurement procedure at the NYA, which the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) has been called in to investigate.
Mr. Cudjoe prayed the NPP government to fix and stop the corrupt practices in the administration before the 2020 elections.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaians on social media have had their say on who the better Vice President is between Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The late Amissah-Arthur served as Vice President for four years under the John Mahama administration.
