The Ghana Education Service (GES) has completed and placed all candidates who passed their 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) into various Senior High Schools, Vocational and Technical Institutes for the 2019/2020 academic year.
This comes after the West African Examinations Council released the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination results last week.
According to Prof. Kwesi Opoku-Amankwa who is the Director-General of GES, over 490,000 students who sat for the BECE qualified to be placed in about 721 schools across the country.
The placements would be released in batches.
Candidates can check the placement by purchasing a voucher from vendors or do so via mobile money and log onto cssps.gov.gh or cssps.org.
The Ghana Education Service has also created centres across various regions to assist candidates who have issues with their placement.
