Ghanaians who are currently experiencing hardship and complaining are simply being ungrateful to God as Ghana is doing well and better under President Akufo-Addo, Finance minister Ken Ofori Atta has said.
The minister, who is also a direct cousin of President Akufo-Addo was speaking in an exclusive interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com on an Accra based Peace FM, Thursday morning.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo has done so well for Ghana so far and that “anyone who will complain of hardship is ungrateful to God.”
“If we look back from where we are coming from and where we are now, then I must say things are better now,” he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
He said the state of the economy is “much much better” than in January 2017, when President Akufo-Addo ascended the throne.
He explained that utilities have been reduced under President Akufo-Addo, and Ghanaians ought to appreciate the benefit at stake.
